My ride is just a little bit stiffer than stock, however I feel that it is more responsive. At cruising speeds, the ride is still very comfortable. I live in Md, and the roads are not too good in the city so I didnt want to go too low. Car does just fine. H&R only drops about an inch or so and after settling I wound up with about 1.5" drop. Very rarely have the problem of bottoming out, however with extreme dips it can happen.
With your 95 you have a little more options than I do with suspension. Check with Steveski,, he is running pretty much the same setup I have with wheel dimensions a little larger tho.
anyone got any ideas i got 235 45r18 tires with 18 inch rims
If you will keep 18s, you need a good slam. Just save money and buy a set of coilovers. Everyone I talk to springs, either don't like the way the car sits, changing to coilovers, or changing to air.
WHy do the job twice. Do it once, and do it right.
not when you think that good shocks alone are 300-400 and lowering springs are 200-300...you're maybe a couple hundred away from much more adjustability.
and ryan, im on spring/shock remember ....mind you....they're more adjustable than those available on the market today
i really only need a 2 inch drop when i really looked at the car sicne it was on a kind of a incline would you suggest coilover or springs and shocks. puredrifter how much did that cost you and how much was the installation. how is the ride. stiff or like it was with stocks
