turning off air suspension on 96 ls400....
Been looking around and read talk of being able to turn off the air ride on these cars.
Could someone tell me where on my 96 that would be if there is such a thing?
thanks.

its not possible. you can, however, convert the car to regular suspension for about $750. why would you want to turn off the air suspension anyway?

such concern....as I have posted before on here asking why if anybody new that when I park the vehicle the car rises while the vehicle is off? I mean I dont stand there and watch but when i come out later to get back in it is up in the air lke a 4x4. It settles back down when i turn it back on but i would love to stop it from doing that .....so I figured I would try to turn off the suspension while it is normal ride height and see if it stays there.

search around buddy, theres info on the OEM airsusp. all over the LS forum.
could be a sticking solenoid or a bent height sensor, just search for airsuspension issues in this forum

I have done searchs and haven't found anything like my issue.
Another thing i cant understand is why it does anything at all with the vehicle off, I mean if i had a slow leak it wouldnt adjust itself while the vehicle is off, it will level itself when you turn it on.
Ive seen the switch in the trunk posted in the searchs I have done but havent found it. When you say open the tool box what do you mean?? I have a tool box above the passenger rear wheel well that I have pulled out and havent seen a switch, am I suppose to pull the panel to find this switch? Remember I have a 96 Ls and if anyone has actually done it on a 96 Ls please let me know.
