Exclamation Strange Braking/electrical Issue just started today!

Hey guys,

my 93 LS has been running beautifully since I got it. this morning it started doing something very strange. I have a long commute everyday to and back from work about 50 miles each way. by the mid of the trip this morning, when i hit the brake, the radio when off and the "abs & trac" light came on on the dash. then everything went back to normal immediatly. then about 5 minutes later, i hit the brake, it did it again. there after i started to notice when I hit the brake, the dash lights will dim down. then...about 10 minutes later, i hit the brake again, ALL the lights on the dash and instrument went off including the radio and then went back on. WHAT IN GOING ON??

it doesnt do it every time i hit the brake...but this driving me crazy! i'm afraind next time i hit the brake, the car will shut off!!

Please help!

thanks.

A bad battery connection also causes those problems.

Please be a little bit more specific on B? which and where abouts is the harness that I should be looking for?

Thanks!

I will clean and check the connection tonight and see if that fixes the problem. it's strange that it just started out of no where and only does it once awhile.

either bad connections at battery or trunk hinge harness fault. the harness is on the left side of hte trunk tied to the hinge. take the covering off it and inspect all the wires. one of them is probably broken.
