open the door

push the switch all the way down for auto rolldown

now hit the leather of the door panel firmly with your fist

the window should roll down. you will have to pull it up while holding up on the button most likely.

get a new window motor :P

Had this problem on my 93 LS, it was the switch in the door. Took the door panel off and the switch assembly out. The driver window switch arched out soo much that it burned the contacts to the point that the window would not go up or down, it was actually stuck in the down position. I took the switches apart and sanded and cleaned the contacts, put back together, still going strong.

Total cost.....Zero

Thanks, I just did the same. My circuit board on the switch was all gummed up from 17 years of stuff falling in there. I cleaned it with some soap, water, and a toothbrush. I dried it and sanded the copper contact areas and it works for now.
