Arrrrh , the mystery is resolved !!
I have JDM one piece headlight/fog leneses , I just couldn't understand why people where talking about the big glare and horrible pattern when mine seemed pretty good !!
The high beam pattern is pretty good , you can see from one of the pic's although they where set a bit too low in those pics .

lol... i have a WRX with a 20G turbo and all the other goodies to go with it. i've also been a big DSM guy, had about 4 talons/eclipses with lots of mods, a galant vr4, and a galant gsx that i converted to full vr4 spec with turbo upgrade, fuel upgrades, etc. i usually run about 19psi on those engines, hence the name!

p.s. wish i had a turbo on the LS!

Looks like I'll be getting the JDM headlights for sure now! Maybe just throw in a HID kit and call it a day.

No problem. I'll be moving to Seattle soon, so I'll have more financial resources, but less time as well. And I won't know of any good body shops

Would you mind sharing where you bought the actual headlight assemblies from? I might look into it on my own and then later on we can share information.

HID projector fogs would be sweet, but probably less applicapable to the first gen LS crowd.

...and we couldn't figure out how the heck you were able to refer to the light output from the 1LS lenses as a "pattern"--rather than a blob!
