Well, if you are limited to these two colors, I'd say 10K, because 8K just looks weird. But I'd much rather recommend 4300K, or 6K, since they are brighter and whiter. And if you're going with extreme color, might as well check 12K out, its a nice purple color.

But dont go with 30K, they are pinkishly gay and are barely brighter than a side marker.

Agreed, I've got 6000k and I wouldn't go any higher than that. There was a slight but noticeable loss in output from stock HID's to 6000k bulbs; I wouldn't want to go with anything higher as you'll have a very hard time seeing in the rain and the colored light will be hard on your eyes after a while. The 6000k are almost white on the road but have pretty good color when you look at them, a pretty good compromise between output and looks.

it wasnt up the two, its just the 8k is more ice blue and the 10k is true blue. a lot of ppl has 6k. but you see on the bottom are the colors. colors arent the most important thing to me though. but thanks a lot it helps me decide on what i want. also i dont want to get pulled over as well. haha.

Then your best bet is 4300K, although 6K does look a bit prettier.

6000k FTW. IMO 8000 and 10000k are too blue and might get some unwanted attention. Here are some shots of my 6000. Although these are stock HID but changed bulbs. But color wise this is pretty much what you'll see.

Check out MobileHID and xenondepot, they're CL sponsors and both have great products and excellent service. I got my fog kit and 6000k d2r bulbs from MobileHID and they look great, quick shipping too. They cost a little bit more than the cheap kits on Ebay but you know you're getting quality parts and somebody that stands behind them and will be around if you have problems.

I just installed a pair of 8000k and I didnt replace the ballast.. it works great.. bought the pair of xenon's from ebay for 58.71 plus shipping came out to $70.00 ... I noticed that the 8000k shined more blue than the stock 6000k I had before ...looks great and brighter...
