Are these clear tails the same?
I remember seeing a for sale thread a long time ago about some clear tails and clear front bumper lenses that were JDM and supposedly looked a lot better than what LuxuryMods and the eBay stores sell. I finally found that thread:

Let me post the pics...
The tails in that first picture sure look a lot nicer than the ones I've seen on the eBay auctions, and the picture that LM has on their website:

Are they the same product? Is the difference just in my head / due to poor picture taking?

I got my RCR 1LS tails from luxurymods, and I've got to say I'm really pleased with them. Once they're on the car, they just look fantastic.
Now, I haven't seen the JDM RCR lenses in person, so I can't compare. But I can say I can't imagine what the JDMs would have to look like to be worth twice or more $$ than the ones Hann carries.

Wow--I've never seen the diamond clear bumper lights for 1LS.
While I do like the diamond clear look, I think the regular non-diamond clears fit in with the overall look of the 1LS car better.

I think one of those pieces is from teh UFC 20 set, and the other is from the UFC 10 set. The poster of that or sale thread said he had both for sale.
Both pieces are from the UCF20/21 set. There are slight differences between the ones sold in Japan and the ones sold on Ebay and here in the states. I'll try to get some pics for you sometime this week so you can see what I mean.
