The engine did response faster, gotta love the combination of the sound of intake, & JP exhausts

what kind of filter is that ? Dont you have to build a box around it?

SilverFlare, If you reinstall the stock air intake it will blow cool air right onto the new filter..........You will need to fabricate a bracket to hold the intake end by the filter , This will give you even more power.

The car will be faster in the begining but ECU seems to adjust to new intakes so you won't have as much additional power later on.

can i disconnect the battery to reset the ECU?

Sure, but it will adjust itself back in a while again. I used to have one of those Injen intakes and that what it did. The car did breathe a lot better though.
