I have a 90 ls400 and it tends to pull to the right. I know i don't need an alignment because I personally did an alignment using a top of the line hunter machine. I also did the win toe. The car still tends to pull to the right. any ideas what the problem could be? oh yea i also balanced the wheels and tire pressure is good so thats not the problem. thanks in advance.
My 1993 LS400 with 135,000 miles does the same. Started doing it at 100,000 miles. This started happening right after I had a rebuilt rack 'n pinion installed. Few (10-12) alignment adjustments and 3 set of tires could not cure the car. Finally, one of the alignment mechanic told me that he had another lexus LS400 with rebuilt rack and it did the same thing.
So, I gave up and just curse the rack place and the mechanic who installed it.
Alright...i just got back from my steering and suspension class....i balanced the tires but i forgot that i had to take the tires off of the wheels because the rims are either left or right so i couldnt rotate them diagonally...i didn't have the time to swap tires so i moved the fronts to the back and the backs to the front....now the car pulls to the left....the bushings don't have any massive wear and the tierods were fine when did my alignment. im pretty certain that the tires are to blame....i did not swap the tires left to right, i swapped them front to back. weird. thanks for everybodys input.
