Whats up everyone first time poster here. The check engine light just came on in my 95 LS. Does anyone know how to extract the code from the ECU, and is there a conversion chart somewhere in this site?

WTF do u mean "sweet"? its not sweet when no one seems to be able to answer my first question...when did your light come on? I didnt see it last saturday when i was in your car.......you jinxed us with annoying orange dash lights...NO SOUP FOR YOU!!

 

The link that was put in the first reply specifically tells you how to retrieve the codes. Maybe you didn't use the link or missed the information in the link about how to retrieve the codes.

 

have you tried searching? You know, you COULD go to the auto store and buy a code scanner from Kragen or Autozone, and get the code, then return it when u are done with it. Or a self-diagnose, but i dont know if this works for the 95, it does for the 90-94.

Orange dash lights? what you talkin' bout willis? mine are white.....or are you talking about my windshield washer light and brake light being on

check out the website.....it shows the jumper thingy for your Lexo......mine is OBD II so i needs me a one of dem "scanners"
