Default New here. Throttle position sensor question.
Hello, I am trying to install a new throttle position sensor on my 1999 Ls 400 with the 1uz-fe vvti engine. Is it possible to calibrate the sensor with the throttle body off of the vehicle?

It looks like you have to do this check on the car unfortunately.

Please see the attached steps provided in the service docs.

Thank you Celsior. The documentation refers to the accelerator pedal position sensor. Would you happen to have the page for the throttle position sensor?

Tighten down the TPS in about the middle of the adjustment range should be good.

Sadly not. This is the only diagnosis page I could find relevant to the throttle body

I have a manual but this is for the JDM Celsior.
