Default misfire help

hey guys i bought a 1993 ls400 and recently its been doing weird stuff. it all started off with my maf sensor taking a dump and my cam position sensor got ripped apart because it got caught in the belt. after that i decided to get a used maf and i got the other side to the cam sensor but the plastic for the male was just destroyed so it wouldn’t fit so i currently have that hard wired with some crimps but after i replaced the maf it fried out again and i had found the cam sensor wires slipped out of the crimps so i re did it and made sure they weren’t going anywhere this time so i decided to get a brand new maf sensor again and also a new battery and replaced all spark plugs and when i started it up it ran pretty bad the idle wasn’t consistent so i drove it so see if anything changed and it didn’t drive that well. i would give it gas when it was idling and it would wanna die after i completely let off so i drove for a bit and found that it was now popping and the shifting felt weird because it would wanna stay at the same rpm so now im kinda stuck on what i should check out. my cel stays flashing constantly as well so thats not giving me any help for codes either

The liquid is the QAS. Traces are easily eaten up by the leaked QAS. I'd say every QAS capacitor leaks and traces are damaged quickly as is shown here.
Judging from the age of your car, I worry that your ECU is too old to repair due to the badly damaged traces.

but i don’t know if it’s my ecu that’s the thing unless you’re trying to tell me the traces are the reason why it’s doing that

9 out of 10 times the ECU is to blame for weird issues on 90-97 models. so yes we are telling you it's likely your ECU that needs to be checked out, and likely capacitors replaced.
