LS400 JZ Swap
I'm currently swapping my single turbo 1jz build over to my manual LS400 ucf21 (for the americans that is the ucf20 facelift). Only question I have is, are there any engine mounts that could be a direct bolt on or something that comes close? I've seen HLS sell swap mounts, but to ship them overseas since I'm in europe with tax and all that, comes out to €800 wich is a bit much for a pair of mounts. If there is no alternatives then I'll have to give in to buying the ones from hls.
welcome! unfortunately there are not a lot of folks with further knowledge of swaps on CL, but i'll try to help.
here is a link on a UCF20 (pre-facelift which should be the same as post) mounting a 1JZ (which may be similar to a 2JZ). he made custom mounts, which i suspect you will have to do with such a drastic swap.

perhaps you can find more answers in his thread, or check out lextreme forums for more swap info. there may be an OEM mount solution that someone figured out there!
