Default Passenger side mirror

I managed to find a passenger-side mirror for my 91 but as I disconnected the wire I noticed that the wire is different from the new one. The new one is from 92 ls400 but I thought that the wire and headlight are compatible in the year of 90 - 92. What should I do here? I know that the wire is for allowing the ability to move the motorized mirror. Should I just put it on anyway and tape the wire to the door, in case I ever come to see one and adjust the mirror by hand?

Also, I drop one screw within the door, is that gone forever? or will it come up in the future? I didn't have a magnet Philip and I didn't expect that the gap was straight down, and poof it disappeared before my eyes.

For the screw that fell in, you'll need to reach in with a magnet or look in with a camera to find it, but it might be hard to get

With the mirror, it looks like you have the right mirror for the range of years (90-92), but there are two different versions... One with power and memory, and one with just power. It looks like that's the mismatch here

Unfortunately, your options to use the new mirror would be to figure out the pin out of the mirror with a wiring diagram to be able to connect it to the car, or to leave it disconnected for now and get another mirror that matches your car.

The weird thing is that I was looking at the old side mirror to compare what was different, but they both held the same numbers. Another question, is it possible to have the wire from the old one and transfer the wire to the newer one? Because I'm looking at the wires, once I took out the cover, it looked like the screw that holds it down is actually quite new, based on the color of the screw, such as not rusty or any of that aspect.

Ignore what I said about the numbers on the bottom of the mirrors.. Those were left and right mirrors.. I've removed that from my post

It is possible to transfer the wire as long as you know the pin out of the mirror. There will be extra wires on the mirror with the memory feature

EDIT: Wiring diagram and diagnostics to help you troubleshoot the pin out

Thank you for the information! I greatly appreciate it. I just add some oil Penetration to the screws on the bottom at the moment, they're quite a B*itch to take off at the moment without the drill, but can't in this scenario because all 2 screws in both look like it can easily melt off.
