Ugh. I crack my outside mirror when replacing the mirror housing. Is there a difference between the red wire mirror and the blue wire mirror? I'm looking for a used glass on ebay but some sellers are saying the blue wire mirror won't work if you have a red wire mirror. I don't see the difference between the two. They both have the BSM light, dim, and heat.
Also, would the glass from the IS, ES, LS work since they pretty much have the same housing?
I couldn't find the one with the exact wires so what I did was swap the BSM led and circuit from my broken side mirror onto the new one and that did the trick.
You have to take apart the side mirror. Practice on the broken one first, the plastic is just clipped together. Obviously just try and see if the one you bought works first, if you get the BSM light on the dash you have to do what I did.

I’m now in the same boat, cracked drivers side mirror on my 2013 with BSM and heated. I also see that sellers specify red or blue wiring. The back of my mirror wires are brown and grey and so far I haven’t seen any with this color unfortunately. To confirm, it doesn’t matter the colors of the wires, I can just transfer the wiring and led from my old mirror to the new one? @peasodos

If you're looking to install a dash cam using the OEM rear view mirror power, this company makes some USB taps that are worth the money, I think. Pull off the cover, and verify the connector for you have before ordering.
