Thumbs up Bi Xenon Headlight

Hi, I just installed a Bi Xenon Headlights on my girlfriend's 2001 C320. They are amazing. I wish Lexus can offer them in the future, especially on the GS. They look so sweet. You can visit the pictures that I post on the Lobby Forum.

doesn't that mean you have to replace the entire housing and do a lot of wiring?? bi xenon means the reflector shield or prejector shield moves up and down for when the high beams are switched on

Default Nope, its a plug and play

Believe it or not. There is absolutely no wiring required. I just took off the original headlight and install the new one and plug the original plug (3 of them) in and it works. The ballast was mounted in the headlight unit. The only thing is you need to take the car to the dealership and have they switch the onboard computer from Halogen Presence to Xenon Presence. (No charge at the dealership and it takes 15 minutes.) I do know that lots of MB dealership mechs. don't know how to do it. You need to ask around. My next project will be the Euro Spec Nav for her car and the parts its on its way. It comes with TV tunner ready. and not to mention more feature compare to the U.S. nav.

Default rominl is correct.

There is no autoleveling, and its just that simple. Plug and Play. To a non-electrician, its the best thing that can happen to me. The only thing that will trigger computer problem is the Halogen headlight presence but it was taking care by dealership before the lights were installed and switched to Xenon presence. I just installed a pair of Piaa Wedge bulb and it looks tie. Unfortunately, our M6 for the GS can't be installed or she will love the brightness to match up with her HID.
