Default Bulb advice needed...

OK guys, I've done searches and I'm still confused on some bulb upgrade details. I just can't figure out what model bulbs I need.

As far as bulb brands, it seems like Polarg and Razo are the most well liked on here. I've seen the Razos on mumbles GS and they looked GREAT.

I'd like to upgrade the sidemarkers and parking light bulbs initially. So what do I need?

I think the parking bulbs can be replaced with Polarg M4's, is that right? What Razo model?

I read on one post that the parking lights and the side markers are the same bulb (part 194, replaceable by M4's) but on bananags's great bulb guide web page it says the sidemarkers are part # 194 and the parking bulbs are part # 2825.

Need help... going insane...

I have 194's in my sidemarkers. Originally they were M4 POlargs until I got a ticket for them.

As for the Parking bulbs they are also 194's however they also fit Polarg M6 which I still have on my car, the 194 Wedge bulb will not give you as much light output as the Polarg M6 (parking light). I do not know the # of the Polarg M6.

parking light (i call it night time driving light) is 5w, and m4 is direct replacement (also 5w). you can fit in the 15w m6, brighter

the side marker light is also 5w and you can use the polarg m4 as direct replacement.

i have m4 on both the side marker and night time driving light

When you say 194's you mean you went back to the stock bulbs?

Thanks - the M6 though uses more power, isn't that a strain on the electrical system?

A different question - as I understand it the DRL's are the high beam bulbs running at low power. Is there a bulb that will replace the high beam bulb and make the DRL look better? Or will it never look good because it's running at low power?

Some people may like that.. As for the bulbs, 194/168 will fit in both the side markers and inner lights where the highs are.. They also fit in the License plate and pretty much everywhere inside the car where you see light coming from except underneath in the front where you're and the passenger feet rest... Now that bulb down there I have no clue as to what it is...

same here, i can't find superwhite for that. i guess i am just going to pull it out, spray on some clear blue paint (thin layer) to make it looks white.

Me too.. I have a blue LED dome light and Polarg M26's (?) as the map lights... As for those bottom lights I was thinking about pulling off the wire harness and putting a 194 harness and blue LED bulb... Not sure if it'll work but I'm going to try it soon... Then if that doesn't work I'm going to take those little bulbs out and just hook up some Blue LED strips down below....

How about these for replacing the parking and sidemarker bulbs? They're 4 LED ones:

Thanks for all your help guys.

mrsypher - which do you think's better looking for side ones, the LEDs or the Polarg M4's? Thanks again.
