Default DRL not working with LEDs.

Hey new here but was wondering if anybody has this issue. I installed putco LEDs and they work fine but for DRL they don't work. Any help would be great. Thx.

When you're in DRL mode, they receive like half voltage than when you're using them as high beams. Did u get the module for them?

I didn't get any module for them I was wondering because the wedge led is pretty big and has about 13 led on one bulb. So I think I might try a different wedge led.

It doesn't matter how big or many LEDs the bulb has in it. It's a voltage issue.

V-Leds have the best LED's. go to www.v-leds.com I have them on my 07 GS450h and I haven't seen a better LED yet. Their delivery of the lights are fast too! I got mine in 2 days from the time I ordered them.

So, if you replace the fugly yellowish DRL with led's, you need a module? What other solutions are there if I wanna just run white DRL's?

What about not running led's and just replacing them with white lights?

Default DRL's

I have an 07 GS45H and I have LED DRL's and they have a faint flicker to them because I didn't use the module or harness for the light. Check out these and tell me what u think. V-LEDS 6K HID WHITE 28 LED 13W DRL/FOG LIGHT BULBS HB3 9005 H10 9145 go to www.v-leds.com. The light and the color is the best I have ever seen and they ship to you very quickly too. Hope this helps.

If anyone of you guys planning to use Vled without the module, you guys are missing out. With the module connected, it stop the flickering, the light output is much clearer and so much brighter. A huge difference.

has any one been able to replace the DRL's with HID? Does this work at all, or if you put HID lights in, do they just stay on Bright all the time?
