Default 2.5W SMD LEDs

Has anyone tried the 2.5W SMD LEDs?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...d=110533207750

I'm currently using the 1W SMD LED 194s for my SC430's trunk, doors, license plate.
I bought them from eBay for about a buck each.
Just wondering if the 2.5W LEDs are worth a try.

Thx.

Yeah, not worth it. They're basically adding those 3 smaller 0.5W SMD's to the sides on top of the 1W SMD on top to total 2.5W. Now if the top SMD was 2.5W, then that's a different story.

They're actually 13.99 for the pair.
Still, not like it's cheap.

I'll let you know guys know how it goes after I get a better deal.
(Best deal so far: 5.50 each.)

LuxuryMods has some new 194 LEDs that are great for license plate lights and doors. They look exactly like the new Lexus license plate lights (colorwise) except brighter. They also have 74 bulbs and big LED boards to match too.

I used to buy LEDs based on their wattage but it's really the design of the bulb that makes it superior. Higher wattage bulbs tend to burn out more often too, especially in small housings likes the license plate lights.
