Default which led for license plate lasts the longest?

like the title says. i have had the 5 led from superbrightleds.com and i loved it but it burns out like all the other ones. got the polarg m4 like some of u have sugested but i hate the color its not pure white. so im looking for the led that lasts the longest. thanx

Superbrightleds sucks, I've bought so many LED bulbs from them and they all give up very quickly so I stopped buying from them. Dealt with the frustration like you, I ended up buying individual LEDs and created my own bulbs
Dont have a picture at the moment but will take one later and post it for you.

All my interior LEDs are from http://www.tec-toyz.com, I have them for over two years and not a single one gave up on me.

olddog do u remember what kind it was? or who the seller was lmk thanx

as for the color yah the polarg gives out a brighter light but its not as white i rather it look good than people actually being able to see it hehe

I usally get my led's from www.vleds.com, the smt ones.

btw. raceroyce, do you have a AE86, used to be yellow now red and full show?

saw the site..

they have so many LEDS its confusing!
I dont know which ones I need to get

I was thinknig about going all UV lights

even the Cluster...if i make the cluster light UV...will it be bright enough when lit?!?!??!?!?

Yes... trust me, i have various types lites that i've ordered and they didnt quite match what i wanted and are just sitting in a box now. Thing is... your gonna have to experiment, 5led reflectors vs 5 smt vs hi power vs flank... but whatelse are you gonna do... hey its only money right?

I purchased my license plate LEDs from VLed. It's been a month now and so far they work perfect.

Lol, not only money, need that $$ for college!

I wanted to get all my interior lights changed to either purple or hyper blue

I was thinking UV but its not going to be bright enough :-\
