Question 08 IS250 projector lens swap?

Hi everyone. Couldn't find anyone who have done it yet so in order to do it I need your help guys. I'm, as some of you guys might be, sick and tired of our OEM HID's projector color that's comparing to any other brand is just yellow although they're xenons. So I'm gonna go with swapping lenses from different projectors.
This is where I find it kinda hard for me: the OEM projector lens has, to be exact, the diameter of 2,94" and most of the bmw's, merc's ect has 3" diameter. My question is are there any lenses out there to be a direct repleacement for our projectors that would give us the bright output?

Thank You

Search for member "JVX", as he is king of this realm.

Good luck with the ISx50 projectors as they are at the bottom of the barrel as far as output/color is concerned.

JVX is local and a good friend of mine. You want me to have him contact you?

An old post; didn't even know someone was mentioning about me, lol. Didn't even know Jimmy was on this forum, cool.

Anyway, check out the links within the link below for some details on the 2IS lens swap.

Thanks for the comments. My next project would be the S2K-R projector, a replica of the infamous S2000 projector. It was rumored to be even better than the oem S2K AP1 projector. Until I personally test it myself, I'm not going to say much.
