Hi,
I bought a HID conversion kit for my fog light a little more than a year ago, now one of the bulbs is broken. My question is, do i have to buy a new kit? Or i could just buy any 6k bulb for replacement? If so, what type of bulb should i buy?

What is the sizing of the bulb?

 

You just need to buy a replacement bulb. You should try to get the replacement bulb from the same source you bought your kit from because not all suppliers carry the same colored 6000K bulbs or mislabel their products. And even when you do get the replacement bulb from that same source, there is a chance that it will not match 100% because you're comparing a new bulb to a used bulb...the color of HIDs are known to gradually change over time after their burn in period.

You'll need a 9006 HID bulb for your fog light.

 

Thanks for the info... I will be buying the bulbs in pair so that the color would be the same left and right.

 

Yup, ballasts usually outlast aftermarket bulbs
