Some Taillights working some not??? HELP
This happened a couple days ago. My inner taillights on my 2001 ES stopped working. The taillight indicator came on so i checked the rear of the car to find the inner tails not working. Most other problems with respect to the taillight indicator i've read dealt with the light coming on when all lights seem to be working.
My problem seems to be a little different and I'm hoping someone else has come across this before. Here are the details: checked and found that one bulb on left side was burnt out. other side ok. changed bulb on left = no action on either. changed both bulbs = no action on either. All of the other rear lights are working, including the backup and stop mount lights, except the two marked on this photo.

Nothing has been newly installed, i never have anything in the trunk that would have cut a wire on or near the harness running from the trunklid. Just one day the two stopped working. I just got back from the dealer with some new bulbs and still no lights
Anybody have any expertise on this? Seems as though when something goes wrong on the car it doesn't seem to be a mainstream problem, my damn luck. any help insight would be great, thanks again.
Cheers,
V
