Exclamation Dead Tails

I have been having horrendous luck with my tail lights. I was pulled over for not having my night time lights on. When I turn on my headlights, they work, all bulbs. The trick to the problem is : my brakes work, my signals work, my reverse work. I checked the fuse, there is electricity. What else could it be? Yes I checked the fuse.

Please help me!!! This is driving me crazy.

Take off the taillights and check each bulb. That's what I did.

im having the same issue. i believe the problem is the wiring harness may be corroded, or bad connection somewhere.

this is most likely your problem.

(different car/same issue)

there is a box in the trunk that senses when you have a burned out taillight which triggers the warning light on the dash cluster. Over the years the solder joints on the pcb board inside the lamp failure sensor box develop microfractures which breaks the circuit.

if you dont have a soldering iron you can carefully use a heatgun to "re-flow" the solder, or heat up your oven to about 350deg and throw the pcb in there for ~5min (but watch it carefully)
