Buy new Headlights or Retrofit?

Which would be the better way to go? Brand New SC healights? (2000 I believe had a better projector) Or buy those ebay headlights, use those lenses and try to retrofit (which I have no idea how to do) Ive tried to take off the projector but I cant seem to figure out how.
