Hey guys i purchased an HID kit and i made sure i got 9006. The problem is the bulb wont go in. The shape of the locks are totally different from stock. I made sure i got 9006 what can i do? im not to mechanically inclined but these should of been plug and play. They work and look great but i wanna see them on the car.

 

EXACT SAME thing happened to me lol, i was gettin them installed at my friends, friends shop...and he had to grind the base of the light...lol not something you want to do unless you have a very steady hand. i have the jdm lights so i think i was supposed to get 9005...do you have usdm or jdm headlights?

jewel- you sure you're not trying to swap out your high beam?

 

im positive the problem is their 9006 but i dont think their rebased or something all i know is the locks are a bit off. they definitely work though

 

any suggestions by the way

 

maybe contact the seller and get a different set of bulbs?

 

i thought are cars were 9007?
