Default HID compatability

I was about to purchase a set of HID's from another forum (supraforums), and the kit that is being sold is bulb type 9006. The same as are car. Question is.. will this kit be compatible with are car?

Thanks

If its a plug and play HID kit then yes it will work in your car as our low beams are also 9006

I believe its a PNP kit, I knew the bulbs would match up because of the type of bulb used (9006) is the same. I just didn't know if any of the connections would work as well. I've never installed a hid kit, yet..

The connections should all be the same. Basically you just need the signal plug to connect so they know when they are supposed to fire up. If you had to you could cut the harness but if it was in a supra or a 9006 hid kit, it should work just how it is.

Please don't use the plug and play kits without considering the affect it will have on oncoming traffic. Just because an H.I.D. bulb will fit your projector doesn't mean you should run it. It will still produce glare and blind the people heading the other direction. Simply put, Halogen projectors aren't meant to run Xenon bulbs.

Most halogen projectors. My stock ES ones work pretty well after I cleaned them up a bit. Has a pretty good cutoff too
