breakb... there is one bolt to take off when you open the hood... another 2 bolts are under the wheel well if you remove the lining. Just reach for the outer part of the lights and you should find them. Once you get everything unbolted just wiggle the light around until it pops out but be careful not to scratch your paint.
But to just put the bulbs in you dont have to take off the actual light housing.
I have HID's plug and play 6,000k and they are definitely an improvement from stock however, a retrofit is the optimum choice for the best light output quality. Either TSX projectors, bosch e49 projectors.
Has anyone ever tried doing a Acura TL retro? theyre cuttoff seems to be really nice too.
hmmm cool. and yeah, that retrofit thing seems like the way to go. but no time and money right now. >_< work and school, have to wait till day off and have money, lol.
so gonna have to unhook the headluight completly yeah? crap. was hoping i didn't have to do that. ah wells, i'll try it tommorrow or next week cuz off next week.
is this all i need to hook up my HID's? i remember in another thread someone said if u don't have enough things or something could end up frying some OEM wires or something...
breakb - if you want to install the kit like that, it certainly is possible. I don't think it's the safest way possible but then again, it's your car and you can do what you wish with it.
Why not pick up a wire harness just to make sure you don't fry anything?
