I have HID's plug and play 6,000k and they are definitely an improvement from stock however, a retrofit is the optimum choice for the best light output quality. Either TSX projectors, bosch e49 projectors.

Has anyone ever tried doing a Acura TL retro? theyre cuttoff seems to be really nice too.

hmmm cool. and yeah, that retrofit thing seems like the way to go. but no time and money right now. >_< work and school, have to wait till day off and have money, lol.

anyone know where i would place the ballast's in the car? one side is battery other is airbox...so...da heck u guys put um?

On the fender side of the airbox, and the fender side of the battery.

so gonna have to unhook the headluight completly yeah? crap. was hoping i didn't have to do that. ah wells, i'll try it tommorrow or next week cuz off next week.

breakb - if you want to install the kit like that, it certainly is possible. I don't think it's the safest way possible but then again, it's your car and you can do what you wish with it.

Why not pick up a wire harness just to make sure you don't fry anything?
