I've got HID bowls for sale. Pick those up first, then get a retro kit from xenondepot. Do it right.

1. the harnesss is fused to protect such a thing from happening. cheap chinese kits are the same wattage as teh expensive oem ballasts. so there wouldn't be any different current draw. factory hid power supply harnesses are the same guage as halogen harnesses.
2. very true most of the time.
3. unless you're planning on doing some submarining, what's the difference? factory ballasts aren't waterproofed either. if the car gets into water deep enough to cause problems with the ballasts, i think you have more serious problems to think about.

I picked up 2 sets on ebay a while back and they have been working like a champ ever since. I got both sets (6000k and 3000K) for $75 a set shipped. Total was $149 shipped for both. At this price.. if they break.. oh well.. I will try a different set.. but for now.. these are great. Hell it cost me more to buy Silverstars after they burn out every 6 months or so.. so after 5 replacement silverstar's later.. HIDs all the way. For me.. it's hard to justify $250-300 set... I am glad I took a chance this time to save money. They were plug and play also.
