Default DRL Question

Hello there,
newbie here,

DRL are yellow and ugly in the daytime, what can i do to make them look white and cleaner?

cahnge the bulb won't do anything, unless you put in very high unsafe wattage bulb like 100w or so. but forget about using high beam coz' you will see smoke very soon

you can use a relay and run full power on drl, but that's very bad coz' you will be glaring all traffic.

just stay with the current setup, they are "dim" like that for a reason...

Im guessing he wants a whiter light output. I'm guessing he may be interested in installing some blue tinted bulbs.

put some LED's in there then if changing the bulb is that unsafe...JEEEEEEEZ

Haha, yes changing to high wattage bulb is in fact unsafe. Get LED, end of story.

Where can I get some LED lights that are a direct replacement for my DRL's?

eBay. $20.40 shipped. Cheap brand but I don't think anyone have any problems with it, yet.

hey i just slaped on some 1w led lights to replace the oem bulb now my drl wont turn on. Do i have to do anything to get them to work again. But when i hit the high beam switch they work.

Any help would be great. Thanks

same thing happened to mine...I tried driving around to see if it will come on but they didnt so i just sold them. Oh yea i have a 2000 GS3

Great, so LED's didn't work for you guys What LED bulb does work for our DRL's (be as specific as possible, bulb #, manufacturer, etc)??? Anybody??

dude go to your dealership like on a dead time, toss a mechanic like 15-20$ and ask him nicely to please turn them off
