Default Question

I was wondering if DRL is the same as high beam?

I just ordered these DRL's

http://store.ijdmtoy.com/9005-LED-Da...d_sku45_r4.htm

And when I installed them, it was replacing the high beam bulb (Bigger Bulb), not the DRL bulb (Smaller bulb). So When I turn on my lights the DRL light is still the same color, and only if I turn on my high beam I get the white color.

Did I install these correct? It said DRL not High Beam on the box. I thought they were pretty simple to install.

In the older, non-LED DRL "swoosh" style headlights, the high beams and DRLs are the same bulb (9005 type). In the stock/OEM setup the DRL is simply the high beam bulb rubbing at a lower power (thus making it appear more yellow as well).

The smaller bulb you're thinking of is the parking/city lights. You should change your parking lights as well to match your new LED DRLs: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ive-guide.html

This thread will help further clarify the difference between DRLs and parking/city lights: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...s-and-drl.html
