Default sc300 hid/halogen lights

I just installed HIDs into my 97 sc300, and i dont have the downtime/money to do a whole hid retro fit.. and my light output was pretty bad. hot spots here n there.. so i took the HIDs off the car.. but the halogen blubs I had were pretty bad already... so for now I just wanted to know what are the brightest white halogen blubs I can buy for now until I do my HID retrofit? I hear phillip is the best one? is that right? no blubs with blue flim... i want the best visbility with white light no blue tint...

I thought I remember someone saying Silverstar Ultras were whiter than regular silverstars.
