fog lights not working?

fog lights not working?
so i have a 97 sc3 and i run 3000k HIDs in my fogs. one day while they're on i notice that one is out. so i go to see whats wrong to see if any wires are lose or anything and then the other goes out...
so i went home and took out the HID kit from the fogs and put regular bulbs in and it still didnt turn on?.. i checked the fuses in the box under the hood, specifically the ones for the head lights and they're fine (im not sure if fog lights are use the same fuse though)
is there anything else i should check? any connections? other fuses? etc?
maybe a short some where?
anyone else run into this problem before?
