Default 93 Ls 400 Light Trouble

Hi,I have a problem with my tail lights.I replaced the blown bulbs(tail lights) but still when i turn on the head lights they do not work. The brake lights work fine but no tail lights.I checked all the fuses but still no tail lights.I don't understand what could possibly be wrong but yet it sounds like it is a simple problem.Any suggestions or solutions??

did you get 1156 bulbs or 1157? the 1157 are the brake/taillamp combo, while the 1156 are just brake/blinker lights. make sure you got the right ones. look at the bottom of the bulb, does it have two little metal nipples or just one?
