Hey Everyone.

My car is the shop right now, and here is the problem:

When I turn on the lights, only the outter lights work. Turnk light is off

When I step on the Brakes with lights on, only the Trunk Brake light works but the outter of the outter lights wont light up.

When the lights are off, and I brake, only the Trunk lights come on.

Can someone pleaaaaaase tell me what's wrong with this????

I checked all fuses...they are fine.

 

The outers are dual filament. It is possible for one filament to burn out and the other to be fine. Also make sure you did not install the incorrect, single filament bulb.

 

To be honest, please make sure that you have the correct model bulb in there. Funny things happen to tail lights if the wrong bulb is in there. For example, one time I bought some tail light bulbs and didn't care to look at the model #'s (I know...stupid) and they looked the same. Installed them and my tail lights were a little dimmer than normal and the blinker was blinking super-fast when I would put the blinkers on. I didn't even touch the damn blinker bulb! Replaced it with the correct bulb and all was fine. Check that out first...could be an easy fix.

 

Thanks for the inputs guys. It's actually the LED tail lights and I didn't replace any bulbs. Just plug and play kind of deal and this happened...It's just scary to drive it because it's hard to see the LED trunk lights alone in the sun.
