Just wondering, has anyone tired these 6000 or 8000k D4S's?

6000K. Screw the "stock" look. Stand out a bit and make it seem like its "custom"

6000K Ultinons look soo much better. I have bought second set of bulbs just because of that. Originally went with 4300Ks and they where too yellowish.

In my other car I have OSRAM Xenarc bulbs with Hella ballasts - "stock". They look much better too then 4300K Philips bulbs, but 6000K Ultinons are better still.

if you drive long hours and travelling a lot, you would need 4300K
Blue tint cause fatique and you would need as much output as possible

I got D2S instead of D2R and I tried both 6000K and 4300K

4300K reflects white from the headlight but looks yellow on the road. 6000K is white and stays white on the road with some bluish/purple hue.

Is there a ClubLexus special for XenonDepot 6000K for the SC400? My stock lights are super dim! I can barely see at night lol. They are super yellow too. I am ready to get some nice HID's.

Hello,

The Xtreme kits are still on sale for $224.99.

This price is available right from the website.

How about the newer 50W HID kit instead of 35W?

50W DELIVERS +33% MORE LUMEN THAN THE 35W KITS, so 50W 6000K should look brighter than OEM 35W 4300K.
And 50W 4300 is still the brightest for sure.

I just copy&paste what I've found.

35W

4300K(3300lm)

5000K(3250lm)

6000K(2800lm)

8000K(2550lm)

10000K(2300lm)

12000K(2100lm)

14000K(2000lm)

NEW 50W 4300K(4500lm) - BRIGHT WHITE (BRIGHTEST)

NEW 50W 5000K(4450lm) - INTENSE WHITE

NEW 50W 6000K(4000lm) - CRYSTAL WHITE

NEW 50W 8000K(3750lm) - CRYSTAL BLUE

NEW 50W 10000K(3500lm) - AQUA BLUE

NEW 50W 12000K(3300lm) - BLUE-PURPLE

NEW 50W 14000K(3100lm) - PURPLE

Hello,

Most HID kits on the market these days use a 50W ballast with a 35W bulb. This will shorten the life of the product by approx 25-30%.

50W HIDs are approx 25% brighter than 35W however thats not necessarily a good thing as it will be too bright for street use. 50W HID in a work light would be great however not necessarily for vehicle lighting.
