Hey All:

For the past several months, I regularly get a "taillight failure" message. However, my backup, stop, turning and liscense plate lights all work correctly.

Any Ideas on why I keep getting this error?

Suggestions appreciated.

 

Did someone add a rear spoiler with third brakelight to your car? Or did someone swap out the third brakelight in the subwoofer grill?

 

It could appear to work correctly, but it could be just a single bulb that is burnt out.

My 3rd brake light has 5 or 6 bulbs in the unit....if one burnt out....it would be hard to tell....but that could be the reason for the taillight failure.
