Are your headlight lenses glass or plastic

simply put, there is no way to retrofit projectors onto our 2nd gen cars right now unless u do a full UCF 21 front end conversion. our lenses are Diffused Glass. we can do a regular 9600 conversion but no projector or even reflector retro's for us yet. unless of course, u can find a place to custom grind ur lenses to smooth and clear ones. or get some made from high temp plastic.

it sounds MUCH more throaty and not as silenced as before. for the last 6 months or so ive been running 1/2 exhaust (no final mufflers) and just left it liek that so it ends at the axle. most likely il be getting a full cat-back custom exhaust made soon but im having a PITA deciding which mufflers to use.

ive been debating whether or not looking into a way to make some custom fiberglass housings for projectors in the factory Headlight locations and putting molded plastic on it. but no idea if it would work.

a bit of a tip, either spray the joint with a load of lubricant or beat the S*** outta it with a hammer coz chances are its rusted up pretty bad. even here in SoCal, i had some surface rust welding the damned pieces together. oh, and use vicegrips to get the rubber hangars off, makes it MUCH faster.

http://lextreme.com/muffler.htm should be of a good deal of help.

Getting new custom lenses made is the way to go. Much cheaper than doing a whole front end conversion.

Whoever does plastic moldings can make a set for you. They would need a template made from your lenses you have now then have them molded from that. Cost, probably >500 and <2000. Ask around I could be waaaayy off. When you find it, pleassse post here. I looked back in 03 but couldnt find one here in Chicago that could do it for me when I had the 95 ES.

Times are a little different now. You may strike lady luck after all
