Default Taking Apart Foglight Housing?

I was wondering if the method for taking apart the headlamp housings are okay to use on the foglight housings? I need to open up my fog lights for a little something. My main concern is fear of melting the housing itself since it is composed entirely of plastic. Car's a 95 SC but with 97 conversion so the foglight is this:

thanks,
anthony

Maybe the same oven method for standard headlamp is the same for that? How's the HID lamps by the way? If you want to discuss anything in private or give feedback hit me on PM first. I'm all ears
