i went there and it seems like they are off a bit.

ex.-Manual lists foglights as HB3 and sylvania lists as 9006

Technically they're not off because HB3 is the same as 9005...and 9005 is essentially the same as 9006, but without the shield/cap.

9005 (HB3) on left and 9006 (HB4) on right:

so if HB3=9005 and HB4=9006, then what is H4?

Additionally, i want to do something similar to engin_ear and his GS, but im unsure if its the same bulb no.s for a LS
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=161745

im looking for a pair of superwhite bulbs for the maplights, and a mixture of Blue and Green/Purple LED lighting for the footwells, courtesy lights, and dome light. any help would be appreciated and would somebody please tell me if the sylvania replacement guide is 100% acaccurate?

Thanks
-PD

H4 = 9003.

I used polarg M-26 bulbs for the maplights in my '91:
http://216.82.69.117/detail.asp?PRODUCT_ID=M-26

You can get the LEDs at http://autolumination.com/194.htm or http://www.superbrightleds.com/1157.htm. You'll be needing #74's for the footwells and #194/168 for the courtesy lights (I suggest the Oval Wide Angle lens bulbs, but the 4 to 6 LED would work nicely as well). I wouldn't suggest an LED for the dome light because it does not put out enough lighting compared to a halogen superwhite bulb.
It seems the sylvania replacement guide is accurate so far, but I wouldn't say it's 100%...it's more like 98%.

I put the 4 LED dome light in on my car, love the color. It doesn't light up as good as an incandesent bulb would but it deffidentally is bright enough for me, I can see everything when i get in and im a happy camper
