It's most likely an M4 size bulb in there...try changing it to a M6 bulb...not sure if it'll fit thought cuz yours is a '96. I put M6s in mine about 3-4 months ago and it's a pretty noticeable difference...no problems as of yet.

yeah if it's wedge base maybe you can try m6. but the problem is it's superwhite bulbs, so it will be white and the headlight would be darn yellow
