Hey guys, just wondering any difference in quality with HELLA ballast compared with Philips ballast? Since they are both made in Germany I wondered if its the same thing because Hella ballast is priced a little bit less than philips..

 

If you are referring to the Gen 3 bllast they are exactly the same internally. The Philips just has a plastic outer cover. If you open up the Philips LVQ-212 ballast it even says Hella on the circiut board.

 

Philips and Hella use the same ballasts (made by Hella).
