Default confused about this custom HID kit i bought.. help please

I purchased a custom HID kit from a guy online.. the ballasts are from an IS300.. the bulbs are philips d2s and the wiring has been custom fitted with a 9006 socket. Its made for "real" plug and play. The guy that sold them to me said he had them on his Accord and it worked fine.. I plugged it onto my sc300 and it doesn't work.. nothing at all.. so i tested it out on an accord and yes, it does work.. whats the problem? does anyone have any idea why both cars are 9006 but it only works on the accord and not the sc300??? what can i do to make them work? thanks in advance for any help

If it doesn't work as in ...the power doesn't come on then the wiring connections need to be checked. Try another wire harness to see if your harness conflicts.
