Actually, that's not the source of the problem.

Referring to my earlier posts, I had actually taken out the bulbs and looked at them side by side. It was the same outcome. Arrrgh...

So you're saying one is naturally more purple than the other when outside of the headlight?

Yes. And I am 100% positive of my observations.

Unfortunately. No.

The bulbs are still different in color but otherwise, they work very well.

It's too bad that my camera was not able to capture the color differences.

Maybe he has two different bulbs? What brand is the kit? My guess here might be that for some reason, you've got mismatched bulbs. How long have you had the HIDz? Another guess may be that your right bulb has begun to color shift before the left one. Heres a tip, when replacing your bulbs in the future whether it be this car of the next, make sure you replace them with in pairs. Other wise, you end up with what you've got here or worse. But it seems to me that this is the case. I have a post on HID bulb colors thats a sticky that can explain to you why this happens. Check it out.

my SC300 had the same problem when I put my 6000k kit in, I had to send one of the bulbs back and get a replacement.. The bulb might have looked fine in his car simply because it was reflective and not projector. I found that on our cars you have to be much more precise with the bulb. Once I got my bulb replaced everything worked great.. You might just want to spend the $60.00 and get one off of Ebay and use the bad one as a backup or something.

Thanks for the advices guys.

The kit is made by Supervision and was purchased from a fellow CL member.

It looked like the bulbs are rebased and I was having difficulty finding the right set of bulbs for this kit. So far, besides the color difference they've worked great.

I would appreciate it if anyone has any leads to finding replacement bulbs on this kit.

I've learned to live with it since I got a good deal on this kit.

Thanks again.
