Default How To Remove GS Inner Taillights?

HI, I tried a few searches..and No results? Can some1 tell me how to remove my inner taillights from a 98+ Gs? ..I'm sure once I get to my car after trial n error I could fig it out.. but it would be nice to know prior ,so I'm prepared, Any help would be appreciated, Thanks

I'm guessing you mean the bulbs in the brake light assembly. You have to peel back the trunk liner in front of the taillight and you will find two maybe three nuts. Remove these then on the front??? of the taillight there are two more bolts hidden under some small covers. Pop these out with a screwdriver and voila two more bolts to remove and your done. BTW be careful with the rear bolts they are VERY easy to crossthread.

i think you have to take off the trunk lid liner. not sure about what's next though.

GS Inner Taillights, the round ones?

Look on the trunk lid, remove the carpet cover (about 3" square piece) (right behind the light)
don't need to remove the lid carpet, you will see the bolts there, remove them and the inner light will come off.

Both my lights went within a week of each other. Hopefully, I wont have to deal with that ever again.
