Default trunk removal off 2gs

anyone know how to take off the trunk on a gs?

looked at the mother of all DIY forums and searched, can't seem to find it.

a DIY or even a picture / diagram of which bolts needed to be taken off (maybe even the size) would be helpful thanks!

its easy and self explanatory. once you remove the lining, you can pretty much figure it out from there. you will need 10mm and a 12mm sockets.

Like 808 said, look at it with the lining off and you will answer this yourself. Its probably one of the easiest things you can remove from the body of the car. If you look at it and cant figure it out, put the wrenches down, as you have no business molesting your Lexus.

Be careful taking off the bolts, you don't want the trunk to slide and fall on your windshield.

As others, yank off the liner. Then you'll see the four bolts holding it. I suggest getting a friend to hold the trunk as you remove one side. Be careful with the hinges after since they're loaded and will fling at you. [it hurts lol]

Don't forget to release the tension bars BEFORE separating the trunk from the hinge!!

Is there a way to adjust the trunk? When closed one side sits higher than the other
