Haha thanks, those are great. This is the first I've seen videos of the blue LFA in action other than those very short clips at Fuji Speedway.

Wow! Great find. I had earphones on when I watched the video and the hyperspace like sound of the Lexus LFA is almost trippy. LOL.

 

This is the first time I've seen this video. There was another video that was a supposed time of 1:21.xx but there has been some quarrels with that video. This one is legit and is by LexusDeutschland. I'm guessing they got one of their official drivers to do a lap. It still looked like it could extract more time!

 

Oh, that might explain it then. Didn't know there were 2 videos.

Owners of Lexus LFAs are welcomed into the family by Lexus General Manager Mark Templin in this Web video.

Although the video doesn't show the LFA in action, it does show off some of the highlights of the supercar.

Only 500 units will be made over a 2-year period, and dealers were apparently told the $375,000 vehicles were only to go to the most elite drivers.

The 4.8L V10 engine boasts 552 horsepower and goes 0 to 60 in 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 202 mph.

In a separate video on YouTube, Lexus shows how each LFA is shipped in its own container and then inspected upon arrival.

I hate these versus videos since they are apples to oranges.

They are comparing an SP8 class Lexus LFA racing car with a Viper ACR. The near-stock SP8 class Gazoo LFA is running restrictors and weight penalties where it is producing less than 500 HP, 7500 rpm redline and also weighs over 3300 lbs in order to make it fair for other SP8 class cars.
