Lexus HPX, an FX45 killer?
Came across an article( in norwegian)
about a new concept being shown at New York car show. It will be called HPX, High performance crossover, and will be Lexus` answer to FX45. It will be a " dynamic fourwheeler with performance as an sportssedan"

Wow, you should be a PI!! Great find. Another Lexus SUV.
Great. If Nissan brings the GT-R over and it ain't 100k, u may see me in that. And the 996 prices have come down as well. Hell a G35c sounds good with some Greddy TTs.
I'd hate for my Lexus days to be over. But jeez, in all honestly, they haven't got my heart pumping since the introduction of the GS back in fall of 1997. If they want to make boring cars and SUVs cool, but I'll be 1SICK_________(fill in the blank).
Yeah, I'm looking foward to the next gen GS but it's still a sedan.
HELLO, can we get a COUPE

Ugly. Don't know what they were thinking but i think Lexus needs to stop having FX45 killers, or M3 slayers, and set the bar on their own like they did with the 1st gen SCs. They're starting to follow and they NEED to lead the game to pursue perfection. Scrap that thing and bring back an original Lex coupe that resembles nothing else and is in a class of its own. Isn't that what the goal of having a luxury car company? exclusiveness is key.

they've never had an M3 slayer, and if they did most of us Lexus fans would love it.
As far as exclusiveness, thats a little hard in the automarket. I don't think u'll find a single car that doesn't have a decent comparable competitor at this point in the market, and it'll be a little hard for lexus to create an "exclusive" product and have it remain that way if its such a good idea. Not to mention if Lexus doesn't have vehicles for the markets people want then...well we don't want to think about that do we?

back to the topic, I think Lexus really needs just one supercar that is a cut above all regular Lexus cars.
