Found this while searching the web its pretty funny and talks about the GS performance figures.

That is some poor marketing on Lexus' part. I can see this as a Toyota ad but... Lexus? Come on...

I'm glad they have a new guy for the background narration in the current Lexus commercials.

He's been doing it for quite a while. His voice has that "pristegious" feeling.

Actually Mr. Lexus has been doing it since the beginning, its just that occasionally throughout the years he's not been available or they decided to do a different kind of ad.

This ad was made during Lexus' "dark years" period and was pretty emblematic, IMO, of the directionless spirit that the brand had in its advertising. Fortunately things have changed!!!

The voice of Lexus is actually James Sloyan. He's around 65 years old and was born in Indianapolis. Has basically been the voice of Lexus since 1989.

I can't see how that commercial ever aired. I sure never saw it. Wouldn't been a mistake for sure.

As for James Sloyan, it kinda stinks that he's around 65. That means he won't be able to do it for decades to come. Maybe another 10 if he wants to.
I just can't imagine anyone better doing it. He has the perfect and unmistakable voice for the Lexus brand.
